Get your checkbooks ready: Fundraisers for candidates running throughout the state planned this week


Get your checkbooks ready, PAC chairs and uber-lobbyists, there are several fundraisers for political candidates throughout the state planned for this week. Here’s a partial lineup.

Pinellas County Commissioner Neil Brickfield has a fundraiser planned for his re-election on Monday.

Speaker Designate Will Weatherford is the draw for a major fundraiser for Rep. Peter Nehr on Tuesday.

Former State Senator Dave Aronberg, now running for Palm Beach State Attorney, visits St. Petersburg for a fundraiser hosted by several prominent Democrats from the area.

Rep. Rob Schenck will be in Tallahassee on Wednesday for a lunchtime fundraiser.
