Haley Barbour to headline event at RNC in Tampa benefiting Republican Governors Association

Now we know of at least one event unpopular Florida governor Rick Scott may attend during the 2012 Republican National Convention. Maybe.

The Republican Governors Association and BGR Group are hosting an event with former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour as the headliner in honor of  ‘America’s Republican Governors,’ according to an invitation first reported by POLITICO. The event is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 28 at Stumps Supper Club and will feature country music duo Montgomery Gentry.
