TIME’s Michael Grunwald to speak at USF St. Pete today


Award-winning journalist and author Michael Grunwald will speak at USF St. Petersburg later today.

Grunwald is a senior correspondent for Time Magazine and the recipient of numerous honors including the George Polk Award and the Society of Environmental Journalists award for in-depth reporting, and the author of “The Swamp: The Everglades, Florida, and the Politics of Paradise.”

Grunwald will appear two weeks after the release of his latest book, “The New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era.” The event will be at 3:30 p.m in Harbor Hall Gallery, 1000 3rd St South. It is sponsored by the USFSP Honors Program, the Florida Studies Program, and the Bishop Center for Ethical Leadership and Civic Engagement. It is free and open to the public.
