Details about Paul Ryan’s visit to Oldsmar on Saturday


Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan plans to make a stop in the northern part of Tampa Bay, in Oldsmar, on Saturday, Sept. 15, to rally supporters.

Ryan, the running mate to presidential candidate Mitt Romney, will make his appearance at R.E. Olds Park, 107 Shore Drive West, in Oldsmar. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Event begins at 11:00 a.m.

Titled a “Victory Rally,” other Republican team members are expected to be in attendance, though no names have been released at this time.

Security will be similar to an airport checkpoint, according to Jeff Bechdel, Florida Communications Director for Mitt Romney for President. No signs, sharp objects or umbrellas will be allowed into the event.

“Cameras are allowed,” Bechdel said. “But it’s best to bring as few items as possible.”
