Before he passed, Sam Gibbons was poised to cut TV spot for Bill Young

Retired Democrat Congressman Sam Gibbons was poised to cut a television spot endorsing Republican Congressman Bill Young  in the middle of last week.  That according to Clifford Sam Gibbons, the congressman’s eldest son, during a broadcast interview with Tampa Bay talk journalist John Sipos airing yesterday.

Sam Gibbons died in his sleep last week at age 92.
