Obama makes whirlwind visit to Tampa today

President Barack Obama is making an appearance in Ybor City this morning, part of a cross-country campaign marathon.

Obama will appear at a rally at Ybor Centennial Park about 9 a.m. Thursday. Attendees will be admitted starting at 7 a.m.

The president is in the midst of a nationwide campaign trip that started in Iowa on Wednesday and includes stops in Colorado, California, Nevada, Ohio, Virginia and Florida, with a quick stop in Illinois to cast an early ballot, before he returns to the White House tonight.
