Almost 6,000 votes already cast in #5 seed Tracey Mayernick vs. #12 seed Scott Ross TallyMadness match-up

Reviewing the early results from the 32 first-round TallyMadness match-ups, there are a couple of competitors drawing fewer votes than Charlie Crist at a Tea Party straw poll.

That is NOT the case in the match-up of #5 seed Tracey Mayernick and #12 seed Scott Ross.

At last count, 5.976 votes have been cast in this bracket, with 53% of them going Mayernick’s way. Ross, with 2,777 votes already banked, is no slouch, it’s just that Mayernick is racking up votes faster than any other lobbyist playing in TallyMadness.

With voting extended until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, don’t be surprised if this match-up creates TallyMadness‘ first 10,000 vote-gainer.

Of course, none of those votes can be carried into the second round.
