Associated Builders & Contractors of Florida (ABC) is pleased to announce the endorsement of Marco Rubio for U.S. Senator.  ABC is Florida’s largest commercial construction trade association and America’s largest free market advocacy organization. ABC represents over 2,500 Florida companies and its members employ more than 200,000 Floridians.

“ABC stands for free enterprise, Merit Shop, and balanced, reasonable regulation. Marco Rubio shares our philosophy,” said ABC of Florida Chairman, Gary Stout.  “We look forward to doing all we can to elect Marco Rubio the next U.S. Senator from Florida.”

“I thank Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida for their principled stand and for their long tradition of standing by candidates who support limited government,” said Republican senatorial candidate Marco Rubio. “The timing of this endorsement humbles me and speaks volumes about the enthusiasm ABC and the working men and women in construction will bring to my campaign.”

With five Florida Chapters, ABC has the largest commercial contractor organization and provider of skilled craft/apprenticeship training in Florida. ABC provides critical safety and management education as well as the most comprehensive political and government affairs program on behalf of commercial contractors in Florida.

Stout stated, “Marco Rubio has been a long supporter of economic liberty. He understands the proper constitutional role of government and supports ABC members in their struggle to limit government sponsored discrimination in the form of union only “project labor agreements”.
