Today is the final day for all you creative types to submit your entries into the Tampa Bay Advertising Federation‘s annual Addy award competition.

The ADDY® Awards are the largest and most comprehensive creative competition in the industry, honoring creative excellence in nearly every area of advertising. It is the only major national creative competition with three rigorous levels of judging – at the local, regional and national levels. Work is entered into the ADDY® competition on the local level through over 210 local Advertising Federations nationwide. Work that is selected as the very best in each local market advances to compete on the regional level, which in the case of the 4th District includes Florida and the Caribbean. Finally, regional winners from the 14 AAF Districts across the country compete in the national level of competition, making a National ADDY® one of the toughest awards in the industry to win.

Political work is judged only biannually, so I won’t be taking part this year (although PS Creative led the competition last year with four Silver awards). Also, I suggest anyone in the industry attend ADDY Gallery Night, at which all the entries are on display.
