Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard, Pinellas Park Mayor Bill Mischler, Safety Harbor Mayor Andy Steingold, and Oldsmar Mayor Jim Ronecker today joined St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker in endorsing Jack Latvala for the Florida Senate, District 16.
“Every day I can look around my city and see evidence of the accomplishments of Jack Latvala when he previously served in the Florida Senate – the Clearwater Memorial Causeway Bridge, the Willa Carson Health Resource Center, and Bayview Park to name just a few. We need Jack back in Tallahassee fighting for the interests of Tampa Bay!” said Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard.
Pinellas Park Mayor Bill Mischler added “When Jack Latvala served in the Florida Senate before, Pinellas Park was not in his district. However, when we asked for his help on local projects like drainage improvements for Park Boulevard he was always willing to help. That is the kind of person we need representing our city in Tallahassee.”
“I am honored to be endorsed by these Mayors who represent the level of government closest to the people of Senate District 16. Once elected, I will work with these leaders as well as others in Senate District 16 to help solve the problems facing the Tampa Bay area,” said Latvala.
