Get your checkbooks ready for these legislative fundraisers this week

Get your checkbooks ready, PAC chairs and Tallahassee uber-lobbyists, there are a couple of fundraisers for legislative candidates planned for this week.

A fundraiser for two Republican State Representatives attempting to return to Tallahassee is scheduled for February 5. Eric Eisnaugle and Scott Plakon are hoping to come back to Tallahassee after the former sat out the 2012 election cycle, while the latter was defeated in one of the most-high profile legislative races.

The event at the Governor’s Club will be hosted by Speaker Will Weatherford, Speaker Designates Steve Crisafulli and Richard Corcoran and Representative Jose Oliva.

There is a fundraiser benefiting Reps. Matt Hudson and John Wood hosted by Speaker Will Weatherford and Speaker Designates Steve Crisafulli and Richard Corcoran. The event is planned for the Library Room at the Governor’s Club and begins at 6 p.m.

There is a second fundraiser on Wednesday, this one benefiting Rep. Mike LaRosa.
