Hospital officials released the name of one of the victims shot by Myron May at Florida State University’s Strozier Library early Thursday.
Tampa Bay Times reports Nathan Scott as being in good condition at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. He suffered a gunshot wound in one leg.
Hospital officials say Scott is seeking privacy while he recovers.
Scott is “getting some screws in his upper leg to fix cracks in the bone,” according to a Facebook post by his uncle, J.M. Scott. “I always thought things like this happened to someone else.”
Scott’s Facebook page says he is an FSU student from Tallahassee who studies electrical engineering.
