Manny Diaz files re-election campaign in HD 103 for 2016

State Rep. Manny Diaz, Jr., after an easy re-election win last week, has filed paperwork for another campaign run in 2016, according to the state Division of Elections website. The Hialeah Republican represents House District 103, covering parts of Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

On Nov. 4, Diaz received about 58.2 percent of the vote to defeat Democrat Benjamin De Yurre. Diaz joins dozens of candidates who already opened campaign accounts for 2016 runs for House and Senate seats.
