State legislative candidate Kathryn Starkey hospitalized

in The Bay and the 'Burg by

Pasco School Board member Kathryn Starkey, a candidate for Florida House District 45, was quizzing Pasco School principal Joanne Glenn about virtual school providers this afternoon when she felt pain in her side.

The pain did not subside, and she left the board workshop. Superintendent Heather Fiorentino said she had a staff member take Starkey to the hospital.
