Something that sticks in my craw every single time I visit their website is the theme used by the Florida Democratic Party: Putting Floridians First Because Security Begins at Home What an Orwellian jumble of idea-by-committee sloganeering. Thematic horseshit like “…Because Security Begins at Home” must have been a by-product of knee-jerk, post-9/11 thinking entirely irrelevant in the current political and economic environment.
