A third poll has confirmed what two others have already shown – residents overwhelmingly favor the Destination St. Pete Pier design over all others. In a new survey commissioned by Florida Politics, St. Pete Polls asks residents which of the three remaining pier designs they favored, Pier Park, Destination St. Pete Pier or the Alma. Based on preliminary preferences expressed by the six members of the Pier Selection Committee, the group appears poised to approve a design not in the public’s top three choices. St. Pete Polls sent out its own Pier survey today to 10,000 registered voters. The survey was emailed with a link voters could click to complete the survey.
