The comments section of Charlie Crist’s fan page on Facebook has been overrun by Floridians upset with the Legislature’s effort to end tenure in Florida’s schools and to tie teacher pay to students’ standardized test results. So much so that whoever admiinisters Crist’s Facebook page had to post a strong warning to commentors to post a “Comment Policy for Our Fan Page”:
“While this is an open forum, it’s also a family friendly one and one that seeks to encourage an active intelligent debate on the issues facing Florida, so please keep your comments and wall posts clean and respectful of others with differing opinions. We also ask that you follow our posting guidelines below. If you don’t comply, your message will be removed. If you repeatedly post comments that do not comply, we will be forced to remove you as a “fan” of our page…”
